Synopsis from the back of the book:

Off the Rage is a stand-alone novel as well as the sequel to the authors’ bestseller Between the Lines, and is perfect for readers looking for a fairytale ending.

I gave it 4/5 stars and here’s why.

This book really is a peek into what happens after “Happily Ever After” and it’s not always as great as it seems. Unlike when Oliver still was in the book, now that he’s in the real world Delilah realizes that she has to share him with others too and she doesn’t like it, while Oliver is struggling to fit in. 

Most of Edgar’s points of view where in the fairytale world and along with beautiful illustrations, Edgar’s trouble in the book is captivating.

Spread around the book were also some parts written in italic which we have to get to the very end to see their writer. Those parts were actually my favorite because they were about some hard topics like death and fate and they balanced very gently with the fairytale-ish style of the book as a whole.

I haven’t read Between the Lines yet however, I didn’t have any trouble catching up with the story.

And the best part, Prince Oliver has an actual YouTube channel!

All in all, I really enjoyed it. It was exceptionally hilarious yet heartbreaking and lovely. Such a great book if you’re looking for a light and fun read. I’m definitely looking forward to read Between the Lines.

July TBR

Unlike the month of June, in July I'm planning to read a bunch of books so I thought I'd share my TBR with you!

   I don't even know why I want to read this book. I usually don't read angel books however, I really want to try this one out.
   
6. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
   
   I've been wanting to catch up in this series for longer than I remember so it's finally a chance to begin with Shatter Me.
   
   
   
7. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
   Romance and summertime are the perfect combination!

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell review

 Here's the synopsis from the back of the book:

I gave it 5/5 stars on goodreads and here's why.

I actually read the book about a month ago and I cannot express how I feel with words. This book created some feelings that no other book has ever accomplished to do so. The double point of view can make the reader feel how the characters feel so deeply. 

It's so heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. I wasn't expecting to care so much about these characters but I ended up being completely in love with the story.

After reading the book, I feel like I really know both Eleanor and Park and love them individually. However, when it comes to the two of them together, I can't think of a better couple. While reading it, I had a stupid smile on my face because I was just so giddy over their romance. I could feel how much they cared for each other like I was part of the story.

There are so many things I'd like to say about this book but I feel like it's better going into it without knowing too much. 

All in all, I loved this book - the characters, the romance, the writing and just the way everything unfolded so beautifully. It's definitely in the top 10 contemporary novels I've read so far.
